Traditional
Traditional Packaging
Our exclusive use of expanded color gamut process printing, and state of the art machinery enables us to produce traditional packaging in a more sustainable production process than our competitors. All of the benefits, with a reduced carbon footprint.
- Fast production output
- Reduced GHG emissions
- End-to-end water reduction
Our traditional products can be produced incorporating bio-based resin from sugar cane and/or post-consumer recycled content.
Expanded Gamut
We have integrated sustainability into every aspect of Accredo’s business model as it relates to manufacturing our traditional packaging. Our expanded gamut printing process eliminates all ink changes which results in up to 95% ink waste reduction, and up to 35% less ink and solvent usage.
Our state of the art extruders are capable of producing the thinnest, high-performance films and barriers that can also incorporate eco-resins such as renewable content or post-consumer recycled content. Our pre-press department also offers waste reduction resources such as digital plate-making and automated plate-mounting which enhances color accuracy and registration.
The Case for Sustainable Packaging
Since 2009, Accredo Packaging has been at the forefront of the sustainable flexible packaging movement. Starting with our LEED Silver-certified production facility, innovations in waste reduction, and use of 100% wind energy, we have been fully committed to delivering packaging solutions to help companies make good on their sustainability goals.
Let’s create a more sustainable future together

Cleaner oceans start by preventing plastics from entering them in the first place. Being able to recycle that plastic is even better. That’s the concept driving OceanBound Plastics. We take material at-risk of becoming ocean pollution and turn it into a reliable plastic resin. Combining supply chain experience with technical expertise, we create a versatile product that can be used in virtually any application where HDPE is preferred. Every pound of OceanBound Plastic is potential pollution transformed into a recyclable resource.

I'm green PE is a plastic produced from sugarcane, a renewable raw material, while traditional PE uses fossil fuel sourced raw materials. For this reason, I'm green PE captures CO2 from the atmosphere during its production, helping to reduce greenhouse gases emissions. Additionally, suppliers must follow principles of sustainable development present in the "Responsible Ethanol Sourcing" developed and implemented by Braskem, which covers aspects such as respect for biodiversity and good environmental practices. I'm green PE retains the same properties, performance and application versatility of traditional PE and can be recycled within traditional PE recycling streams.
